Dr. S. Jaishankar,
As a proud Indian, you can proudly say that you are a citizen of India, where the most intelligent and sharp-minded people handle all the crucial decisions. In the new India, we are equally powerful and able to stand with the most powerful countries worldwide.
Inducted into Narendra Modi’s cabinet as the Union Minister of External Affairs in 2019, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar was a former diplomat who held the position of Foreign Secretary. He worked as India’s ambassador to the US, China, and the Czech Republic before entering Indian politics. In addition to this distinguished position (2007–09), he held the position of High Commissioner to Singapore. Additionally, Jaishankar was a crucial player in the negotiations for the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal.
A small detail of Dr. S. Jaishankar
It is a great honour to have him as a cabinet minister in India. Recently, his popularity has skyrocketed. He is considering the long-term impact and response from the other side while speaking straight-talk assertively.
He is a skilled diplomat with a clear sense of purpose and good negotiating abilities. I like one of his habits: Dr Jaishankar first assumes the situation or comments and then answers them appropriately and in a delegated manner. His extensive expertise lets him speak with dignity and poise while discussing delicate or essential issues. According to modern Indian proverbs, he invigorates us from the inside out.
New Delhi is the birthplace of Dr S. Jaishankar. His parents are K Subrahmanyam and Devi Sulochana Subrahmanyam. Mr. Sanjay Subrahmanyam and Mr. S Vijay Kumar are his brothers. Having been married to a Japanese woman, Mrs. Kyoko Jaishankar, he had two sons, Dhruva and Arjun, and a daughter, Medha. He speaks Tamil, Hindi, English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and some Hungarian languages.
